Airplane crashes, car collisions, and a secret let out--these are considered accidents. Some people are said to be accident-prone, but do accidents really choose the people unto which it would disclose itself or are we, ourselves, to blame in the occurrence of an accident?

What is an accident? An accident is an unpremeditated and unforeseen phenomena. There are two types of accidents: non-physical and physical. Non-physical accidents are accidents that don't involve tangible objects. Examples of these are forgetting an anniversary and broadcasting a corporate deal unwittingly. Physical accident, meanwhile, is a type of accident wherein tangible objects are involved. Being hit by a truck and caught in a stampede are examples of physical accident.

Accidents don't only cause a lot stress to people, but it also claims a great many lives. Due to this, there are several written materials such as explosive, air, car, bike, and workplace safety manuals published publicly that cite the things people can do to avoid accidents. In the case of car safety for example, driving while drunk is a big no-no as drunk people can barely get a hold of themselves, let alone drive. But in the case of non-physical accidents such as letting out a corporate secret, it is necessary for people to really think before they talk. It may be hard at first, but practicing frequently can make the task a habit.

Every year there are people in the world whose lives are destroyed due to accidents. Since accidents are happenings that people cannot control, it is best to always take the necessary precautions in order to increase the chances of avoiding them.
